An Elixir of Love for Saturday Morning

Golden Saturday Series at the Opera

The popular Golden Saturday morning concerts opera series at the Opera House in Tel Aviv continues (March 12) with a program dedicated above all to Donizetti's popular bel canto delight L'elisir d'amore (the Elixir of Love) performed in David Sebba's delightful Hebrew translation.

The program will feature a wide selection of excerpts from this Donizetti opus side by side with some special musical surprises.

Participating artists include sopranos Ala Vasilevitsky, Efrat Ashkenazi, Dika Philosoph and Agam Englrad-Saar, mezzo sopranos Ayala Zimbler, Yifat Weisskopf and Na'ama Goldman, tenor Nimrod Grinboim baritone Yair Goren and bass-baritone Vladimir Braun.
They will be accompanied from the piano by Eithan Schmeisser. The concert is moderated in Hebrew by Michael Ajzenstadt.
